DK will support DMK candidate
CHENNAI: The Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) will support the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in the Thirumangalam Assembly by-election.
The State executive meeting of the party here on Tuesday said this was necessary for the followers of Dravidian principles and the self-respect movement to support the DMK, which was espousing the cause of Tamils.
By another resolution, it urged the Centre to bring a constitutional amendment to remove the creamy layer in OBC quota in education and Central government jobs to usher in social justice. — Special Correspondent
