Swamy asks Pranab to list options

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday demanded that External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee lists the options which are still open for India to act against Pakistan.

In a statement here, Dr. Swamy said the External Affairs Minister was giving statements daily that “all options are open” to deal with the terrorism originating from Pakistan.

“Should have been narrowed down”

At least now, one month after the Mumbai attacks, the options should have been narrowed down to two or three, which included taking out by pre-emptive strike the training camps inside Pakistan-held territory, he said.
