NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel has signed an agreement with Virtela of the U.S., a globally managed service provider to enhance its internationally managed MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) connectivity outside India to more than 5,000 point of presence (PoPs) across 190 countries. Under the agreement, Bharti Airtel and Virtela will integrate their networks through connection points in Southeast Asia and Europe in order to expand Bharti’s MPLs based IP-VPN (internet protocol virtual private network) capabilities around the world, says a release.
