Consumers’ Day

VIZIANAGARAM: Owing to lack of awareness on consumer rights not many cases were registered with the District Consumers’ Forum, said District Judge P. Jagannadha Rao. Speaking at the Consumers’ Day celebrations at Collector’s Auditorium here on Wednesday, Mr. Jagannadha Rao said that there was a need for creating awareness among consumers through consumer councils. He detailed the procedure to be followed for filing complaints with the Consumer Forum. He said that cases would be solved within three to five months.
