Transfers, promotions of teachers soon
HYDERABAD: The State government is striving to complete the process of transfers and promotion of teachers in the first week of January after holding the final round of consultation with teacher-MLCs.
This assurance was given by School Education Minister Damodar C. Rajanarasimha here on Wednesday to leaders of the Andhra Pradesh State Teachers’ Union while releasing at his residence the diary brought by the organisation, according to A. Laxman, president, and K. Narasimha Reddy, general secretary.
Meanwhile, the AP United Teachers’ Federation said on Wednesday that the Minister had agreed to finalise the transfers and promotions during Sankranti holidays.
