One-year-old boy charred to death
An year-old boy was charred to death in a fire at Bhavanipuram on Wednesday. According to one-town police, Kottavalasa Satyanarayana was working as a watchman at an apartment complex under construction on Sivalayam Street and was residing in a nearby hut along with his wife Damayanthi and two sons Srikrishna (3) and Jagadeesh (1).
On Wednesday, Damayanthi was preparing food and the two children were playing in the hut. When Damayanthi went out, fire broke out injuring the two children. Jagadish succumbed to the burns while Srikrishna escaped with injuries.
