Congress legislator dares Narayana to prove charges

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The Congress Legislature Party has taken strong objection to CPI State secretary K. Narayana’s disparaging remarks against ruling party MLAs and demanded an unconditional apology from him.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Congress MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy offered to quit active politics if Dr. Narayana was able to prove at least one of the several charges against him. “It is unfortunate that a party like the CPI has people like Dr. Narayana. Let Dr. Narayana contest and win the election for a ward members’ post before making charges against others,” he said.
