Karmarkar, Union Health Minister, addressing the thirty-fifth All-India Medical Conference in Cuttack on December 26, said that the medical profession should do everything possible to make the people conscious of family planning. He advanced the suggestion that the Indian Medical Association should organise a “Family Planning Day”.
