The Aamir effect

It’s definitely living up to the hype created around it. Scores of movie buffs made their way to the theatres to watch Aamir Khan flaunt his ‘eight pack’ and thrash baddies in his much awaited release, ‘Gajini’. With promos of ‘the method actor’ and his gruelling work-outs being aired on TV channels, looks like his hard work has paid off. Thanks to the buzz around the Gajini hairdo and sleek action scenes, the movie seems set to ra ke in the moolah from first day itself as most of the theatres have put up ‘House-Full’ boards. Movie sites are now filled with instant reviews of fans raving about this Tamil remake. That’s what happens when Aamir Khan prepares to arrive on the silver screen.
