Advice to valuers

Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax Komali Krishna on Thursday asked valuers to put in more efforts to bring uniformity in valuation reports.

She was speaking at the annual seminar day conducted by local branch of Institution of Valuers (IOV).

She said valuation reports submitted with uniformity in valuation were beneficial for income tax and registration purpose. Andhra Bank Deputy General Manager V.S. Sarma said the banks usually depended on the advice of advocates and valuers in granting loans to the public. IOV local chapter chairman I. Rama Rao, noted engineer B.V. Rama Rao, senior lawyer T.V.S.K. Kanaka Raju and others spoke.
