Narrow escape

A major road accident was averted at Chillakallu village on Friday, when an overloaded seven-seater auto-rickshaw was hit by a bus. As many as 18 people travelling by the auto-rickshaw escaped with minor injuries. The accident occurred when all the 17 people from Dethal in Nalogonda district were returning home after completing pilgrimage at Tirumalagiri in Jaggayapet rural mandal. The bus coming in the opposite direction hit the auto-rickshaw. All the commuters and the auto-rickshaw driver escaped with injuries.
