‘Workers of the new alliance should expose misdeeds in Congress government’ ADILABAD: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Communist Party of India (CPI) on Sunday came together on a single platform during the political unit meeting organised here. Leaders gave a call for working unitedly for the purpose of defeating the Congress party in the next elections. The meeting that saw a large number of activists of the three parties attending it gains significance in view of the coming elections. Speakers at the meeting said workers of the constituent parties of the new political alliance should expose the misdeeds and corruption in the Congress government. They criticised the ruling party for promoting corruption in the name of ‘jalayagnam’ and other schemes that were worth hundreds of crores of rupees. TDP State organising secretary K. Dayakar Reddy, CPI (M) State executive member Sarampally Malla Reddy, CPI State executive committee member Rajanarasaiah, TDP’s MLA from Asifabad A. Sridevi party’s district president Gone Hanmanth Rao and chairperson of Adilabad Zilla Parishad Rathod Ramesh, CPI State secretariat member Gunda Mallesh and CPI (M) district secretary Bandi Dattatri also attended among others.
