Heavy bandobust for sarpanch poll

KADAPA: A heavy police bandobust with Kadapa DSP Krishna Kumar and five sub-inspectors was organised in Machanur village in Pendlimarry mandal, as sarpanch elections are slated in the panchayat on Monday, after about 50 years. Chandra Reddy and his family members have been officiating as sarpanch of Machanur for long. Congress MLC Putha Narasimha Reddy and Kamalapuram MLA G. Veerasiva Reddy are taking the poll prestigiously. -Special Correspondent
