Not enough

Raising slogans against terrorism and releasing pigeons for peace no doubt expresses a wish for terror-free world. I feel that film actors of Telugu cinema should have announced donations to the martyrs of the Mumbai blasts. They should also make efforts to showcase the evil of terrorism.

Deporting criminals

It does not make any sense for India to demand that Pakistan hand over criminals like Dawood Ibrahim, when those like Mohd Afzal are left living comfortably in the safety of a prison at the tax payers’ expense. China caught and tried and hanged Islamist terrorists who exploded bombs in August 2008, just before the Beijing Olympics. Bangladesh hanged terrorists who exploded scores of bombs in in that country. Since India is sickly and singularly ‘secular’ we won’t harm the jihadi terrorists.

CPI and nuclear deal

CPI (M) MP Sitaram Yechury said because of India’s nuclear deal with USA our country “faced a greater threat from the Al Qaeda and Taliban”. Communist China also has a civil nuclear deal with the USA. Can Yechury explain why China does not face such threats? Some States are ruled by Marxists and the Central government survives with their support.

Janakpuri
