Two held, property recovered
VIZIANAGARAM: The Bobbili police arrested S. Venkataramana of Kagithapalli village in Rajam mandal (Srikakulam district) and his accomplice Eswara Rao of Rayagada (Orissa) on Sunday and recovered property that included five television sets, seven DVDs, 15 tolas of gold ornaments, 2 kg of silver articles and 60 to 70kg of brass vessels, all worth Rs.3 lakhs from them. N. Sriramulu, Bobbili DSP, when contacted, said that the duo targeted locked houses and committed 10 offences in Bobbili and two in Parvathipuram between March and December this year. The DSP said that the entire property was recovered and they were produced in the court on Monday for remand.
