Tamil Nadu girls win title

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu won the girls’ title in the junior National ball badminton championship held recently in Chandigarh.

In the final, Tamil Nadu defeated Andhra Pradesh 29-10, 29-18.

The Tamil Nadu boys’ team however had to settle for a runner-up spot, losing to Karnataka in the final. Karnataka won 29-24, 29-26.
