VUDA land auctions continue
The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority’s auction of its plots at Yendada continued for the second day on Monday at the Children’s Theatre. A total of 35 plots were auctioned bringing in a revenue of Rs .9.15 crores. Officials said 34 plots of 167 square yards were auctioned and the rate ranged from Rs.16,300 to Rs.10,100 a sq yard. One plot of 2,400 sq yards also went for Rs.10,100 a sq. yard. VUDA’s upset price is Rs.10,000 a sq. yard. On the third and final day of the auction on Tuesday, 54 plots of 300 sq. yards, four big plots and one 167 sq. yards plot will come under the hammer. The auction went off without any protests on Monday.
