Case registered against Chiru

SANGAREDDY: The One Town police of Siddipet in Medak district on Monday registered cases under different sections against Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi.

According to Sub-Inspector K. Surender Reddy, the police registered cases against Chiranjeevi under section 188 (violating the High Court directions), section 341(creating hurdles for the smooth flow of traffic) and section 34 (gathering more than three people) of IPC and section 3(5) (nuisance) under Town Nuisance Act.

When asked about the delay in registering cases, Mr. Surender Reddy said that it took time to gather evidence.
