SBI Life donates Rs. 19 lakh

HYDERABAD: SBI Life Insurance has presented Rs.19 lakh to HelpAge India to take up cataract surgeries and implant of intra-ocular lenses to 1,900-odd patiensts in rural areas in the State, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, ‘Gift Drishti’.

Presenting the cheque to Indrani Rajadurai, National Director of HelpAge India, MD and CEO of SBI Life U.S. Roy said here on Tuesday that the staff of company contributed generously and the company matched twice the amount.
