Woman throttled to death

Rourkela: A 32-year old woman was throttled to death at Deogam village in Bonai police station area, about 80 km from here on Monday night.

Police said Sukanti Sahoo, who was alone at home, was found lying on bed when her husband Dadhibaban Sahoo returned from weekly market. She was declared brought dead at hospital. Police seized a knife and two pieces of unbroken bangles from the backyard of the house. A woman, living in the neighbourhood, was detained. PTI
