This Day That Age
The Gandhi Peace Foundation, which is to be established in a few months by the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, will be an “International Centre” devoted to research, study and propagation of the teachings and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, according to Mr. R.R. Diwakar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nidhi. The Board of Trustees, at its meeting in New Delhi on December 29, endorsed the action taken by the Nidhi and approved the statement containing the preamble, objectives and explanatory note of the Foundation jointly drawn up by Prime Minister Nehru, the Vice-President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and Acharya Kripalani.
