VUDA auction over
The last day of the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority’s auction of its plots at Yendada on Tuesday also saw good participation.
A total of 54 plots were sold netting Rs.24.39 crores.
Of the 54 plots of 300 square yards that were put up for auction only one remained.
The 53 plots went for rates ranging from Rs.18,100 a square yard to Rs.10,100. Of the six big plots that came under the hammer, one, of 2,828 square yards, went for Rs.10,100 a square yard. The total revenue realised during the three-day auction of 124 plots is Rs.50.28 crores.
The VUDA auctions government land and the money from the exercise goes to the exchequer.
