Man killed in accident

Chennai: N. Jayaprakash (40), a Chromepet resident died, on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a speeding Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus on Grand Southern Trunk Road in Chromepet on Tuesday.

The traffic police said that Jayaprakash was taking a right turn at the junction near Vaishnav College railway level crossing, when the accident took place. The speeding MTC bus, from T.Nagar to Guduvanchery, hit the motorcycle, throwing him on the road.
