Road safety campaign

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government will launch an intensive campaign to curb road accidents and create public awareness of traffic rules. Transport Minister Mathew T. Thomas said here on Wednesday that Road Safety Week would be observed from January 1 to 7, involving different sections of society. Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan would inaugurate the State-level observance here on Thursday. — Special Correspondent
