Pat for PR officials

KOCHI: The State government has given good service entries to three officials of the public relations department in the district.

The winners of the good service entry are P. Vinod, district information officer, and assistant editors K.M. Ayyappan and Chandrahasan Vaduthala.

The recognition was given as a response to effective coordination of anniversary celebrations of the ministry, streamlining media interaction, improving feedback to various departments and publishing of the information directory. Of late, media-related assignments of important official functions conducted even outside the district were entrusted with the district unit of PRD. As part of the move to establish an electronic media division of the PRD here, Minister for Fisheries and Registration S. Sarma inaugurated the renovated District Information Office on December 22.
