Case related to Tirumala guest house adjourned

Legal Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court comprising Chief Justice A.R. Dave and Justice R. Subhash Reddy on Wednesday adjourned the case filed challenging the action of the government in insisting on payment of Rs. 10 crore for land for construction of guest house at Tirumala.

Petitioner T. Narasimhan contended that this would lead to commercialisation of the Tirumala hill.

The Bench adjourned the case to the fourth week of January and indicated (without passing any order) that further steps might not be taken in this regard.
