Venkatraman and Vijay win

CHENNAI: K.R. Venkatraman and D. Vijay won the weekly pairs event at the T. Nagar Social Club, with a score of 68.11 per cent playing East-West, while A. Viswanathan and T.N. Thiagarajan won from the North-South direction with a score of 56.57 per cent.

Top three: East-West: 1. K.R. Venkatraman and D. Vijay, 2. C.V. Kumar and C.R. Kumar, 3. T.M. Suri and Chandramouli; North-South: 1. A. Viswanathan and T.N. Thiagarajan, 2. Srihari Verghese and Sunil Verghese, 3. A. Ramarao and S.N. Philip.
