Welcome news

The New Year, indeed, ringed in on a positive note.

The informal announcement that the Union Cabinet would shortly meet to decide on the quantum of reduction in prices of petrol and diesel was surely a welcome news for everyone in the State capital.

While the inflation has registered a downward trend due to revision of fuel prices sometime ago, it is bound to dip further.

But would prices too come down? The big question has no answer as of now.
