New Chairman for Airports Authority

NEW DELHI: V. P. Agrawal took over as the new Chairman of the Airports Authority of India on New Year’s Day.

Mr. Agrawal so far was Member (Planning) on the board of the Authority. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in electrical engineering from IIT Roorkee. Starting his career with the Central Public Works Department, he joined the National Airports Authority. He also served as Director of Srinagar airport.
