Troupe to perform ‘Sarzameen’

CHENNAI: Samanvay Samvet, a cultural troupe, will perform at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Harrington Road, Chetpet on Sunday.
According to a press release, the performance ‘Sarzameen’ will be a tribute to the martyrs who laid their lives so that the country can experience independence.
Sarzameen will portray the story of the struggle for independence through songs, dances and drama.
The story starts from vedic era and ends with the present situation of terrorism.
The show, beginning at 6 p.m., has a total number of 28 songs.
Director General of Police K.P.Jain will be the chief guest.
