Meeting

Karwar: A peace committee meeting was held in Dandeli on Friday to ensure peaceful observance of Muharram on January 8. The meeting was organised by the Police Department. Circle Inspector of Police Rajan Naik requested members of all communities to cooperate with the department to ensure peace during religious procession. He said that 19 pandals would set up in different parts of the city for “Panjas”
