Thiruvananthapuram: The United Democratic Front (UDF) on Saturday said that it did not have any agenda to expand the coalition. Replying to questions on the Nationalist Congress Party’s entry into the UDF, coalition convener P.P. Thankachan said the high-power meeting of the front did not discuss the issue and had not even applied its mind to it. “We have not received any application or any requests by any party seeking admission into the coalition,” he said. Mr. Thankachan did not offer comments when asked about the UDF’s views on bringing all democratic forces under one wing to fight the Left Democratic Front’s ‘misrule.’
