SMFC wins

VISAKHAPATNAM: Sampath Memorial FC (SMFC) edged out Andhra Tigers 5-4 in the tie-breaker in the sixth DRM trophy football tournament here on Saturday.

The shoot-out was resorted to after the full time ended goalless. Siva, Karthik, Gowtam, Praveen and Nani were successful for SMFC while Ramana, Prahlad, Diwakar and Yerri Babu converted the penalties for Andhra Tigers.

Other result: Sri Kodandarama FC (SRKFC) 4 (Raju, Anil, Shankar, Rajesh) bt Sampath FC 0.
