VISAKHAPATNAM: Punjab and Mumbai were comfortably placed against Uttar Pradesh and Haryana on the second day of their Cooch-Behar trophy semifinals here on Saturday. Sharad Lumba made a fine 125 for Punjab while Sufian Shaik came up with a valuable 101 for Mumbai. U.P. was 125 for four in reply to Punjab’s 308 at the Zinc stadium with medium pacer Jaskaran Singh accounting for two wickets. The scores: Haryana 174 vs Mumbai 313 for six in 107 overs (Sufian Shaik 101, Kaustub Pawar 48, Iqbal Abdullah 43 batting, Pankaj Jaiswal 40, Nikhil Patel 36, Rahul Tiwetia three for 72). Punjab 308 in 113.2 overs (Sharad Lumba 125, Gurinder Singh 61, Anil Sihag 34, Himansu Chawla 33, Mandeep Singh 25, Md.
