When the Experts Committee of the Music Academy, Madras, met on December 29 at the P.S. High School with Vidwan G.N. Balasubramaniam in the chair, there was a recital of songs from the dance-drama tradition of Kuchupudi. Further discussion of Tyagaraja kritis in controversial ragas took place and there was a lecture on the Music of Maharashtra.
