Mumbai clinches title

KARAIKUDI: Mumbai defeated Kurukshetra by 67 runs to win the title at the all-India inter-zone inter-university cricket tournament for women here on Sunday.

The scores:

Final: Mumbai 143 in 49.5 overs (Prerna five for 29) bt Kurukshetra 76 in 32.3 overs (Akshada three for 13).

Third place: GNDU 198 for eight in 50 overs (Meenu 43, Manvi 31, Pooja Sharma three for 34) bt Maharishi Dayanand 122 in 38.4 overs (Manvi four for 17, Gaganpreet three for 18).
