VISAKHAPATNAM: Mumbai scored a massive 508 against Haryana for first innings lead of 334 runs in the Cooch-Behar trophy semifinal match at the Zinc stadium here. Runner-up Punjab which took a lead of 55 runs against Uttar Pradesh was 104 for three in its second knock at the Ukku stadium. Siddesh Lad (78, 10x4, 1x6) and Gourav Jathar (72, 8x4,1x4) added 113 runs for the eight wicket to help Mumbai post a big total. Overnight batsman Iqbal Abdullah made 64 (4x4, 3x6). Haryana in its second knock was 101 for one at close with openers Mukhul Dagar (50 batting, 10x4) and Jayanth Yadav (39, 7x4) putting on 61 runs. Kunwar Ryna (53 batting, 8x4) and Anil Sihag (35, 4x9) added 70 runs for the second wicket in Punjab second innings. The scores: Haryana 174 and 101 for one in 31 overs (Mukhul Dagar 50 batting, Jayanth Yadav 39) vs. Mumbai 508 in 163.5 overs (Sufian Shaik 101, Siddesh Lad 78, Gaurav Jathar 72, Iqbal Abdullah 64, Kaustub Pawar 48, Pankaj Jaiswal 40, Nikhil Patil 36, Jayanth Yadav three for 77, Rahul Tiwetia three for 97).
