Mathura Road wins title

NEW DELHI: Bharat Gupta’s half-century (71) helped Mathura Road beat R.K. Puram by 69 runs and emerge champion in the fourth all-India inter-Delhi Public School (DPS) cricket tournament here on Sunday.

The scores: DPS Mathura Road 218 for seven in 35 overs (Bharat Gupta 71, Hardik Pahwa 35, Avesh Sharma 34 not out) bt DPS R.K. Puram 149 for nine in 35 overs.
