Bijapur: A.S. Patil Nadahalli, Devarhippargi MLA, has said that all elected representatives of the district should take part in the “Alamatti chalo” on Monday to put pressure on the Government to complete various irrigation projects in the district. Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, he said letters were written to all elected representatives in the region, including MPs asking them to support the “pada yatra”. “The movement is completely non-political and it will be launched for farmers and the common man,” Mr. Nadahalli added. — Staff Correspondent
