Sheikh Hasina DHAKA: Bangladesh Awami League (AL) president Sheikh Hasina, who was unanimously elected party leader on Sunday, will be sworn in Prime Minister on Tuesday.
Ms. Hasina declared that Zillur Rahman will be the party’s nominee for President. The 300-member Parliament must elect President within 30 days of its first sitting.
