House looted

In a night housebreak, gold jewellery estimated to cost about Rs. 80,000 was reported missing at Sitaramapuram on Sunday. K. Kamala Kumari, a resident of Netaji Road in Sitarampuram lodged a complaint with the Suryaraopet police stating that some unidentified miscreants entered into her house on Saturday night after breaking open the door and decamped with jewellery weighing about 150 grams. She told the police that she left for her relatives’ house on Saturday morning and returned home only on Sunday.

The miscreants opened the almirah with its keys, which were available beside the almirah.

The Suryaraopet police registered a case and advised people to inform the nearest police station while leaving home on a vacation.
