Truckers on indefinite strike

Hyderabad: The AP Lorry Owners Association and several truck operator associations in twin cities decided to go on an indefinite strike from Sunday midnight.

With this, nearly four lakh trucks supplying essential commodities in the State would go off the road. However, trucks supplying milk, water and medicines would be allowed to ply on the roads, said A.P. Lorry Owners Association president Gopala Naidu.
