Qualifiers spotted for main draw

VIJAYAWADA: Karnataka’s Anagh Unni defeated Delhi’s Shreya Agarwal 30-26, while Kerala’s Aarthi Sara Sunil beat AP’s Pramada 30-21 to qualify for u-19 girls’ singles main draw of the all-India junior major ranking badminton championship held at BR Stadium and NTR Stadium at Guntur on Monday.

The other qualifiers are: Boys: Singles: U-19: Saharsha (AP), Shivam Sharma (U.P.), Bhaskar Chakravarthi (Delhi), Dharam Veer Gowtham (U.P.), Vishal Reddy (AP), Nagendra (AP), Anand Tiwari (Pun), K. Sumanth to lead

B. Sumanth will lead the Andhra under-25 team in the South Zone limited overs tournament to be held at Goa from January 17, according to ACA secretary V. Chamundeswaranath here on Monday.
