R. Kumaran Nair dead

Thiruvananthapuram: Former Deputy Accountant General R. Kumaran Nair, 78, died here on Monday.

He was also the State governing council member and Thiruvananthapuram district president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and founder-president of the Vidyadhiraja Sabha.

He is survived by three daughters.
