Patna: Disgraced IAS officer Gautam Goswami, who is an accused in the Bihar flood relief scam, is suffering from pancreatic cancer and is battling for life here. Goswami, who had won the prestigious Time magazine’s ‘Young Asian Achiever’ award, is suffering from the disease for the past several months and was shifted from Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences to a private nursing home on Saturday as his condition worsened due to kidney impairment. “Goswami continues to be critical and is on life support system,” doctors attending on him at Rajeshwar Nursing ome said. Goswami was suspended for his alleged involvement in the scam. His suspension was revoked on health grounds on December 8. PTI
