Cinema screening

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: An example of a near-perfect situation is sitting back with a chilled glass of whatever-you-please while watching a movie.

This week on January 6 at 8. 30 p.m., the lounge-bar Pebble’s film club – “The Pebble Lumiere Film Club” brings you “The Adversary”, a chilling French drama, as part of “World Cinema Tuesdays”.

The movie is about an affable country doctor named Jean-Marc Faure, who pursues an imaginary career as a Doctor, but is a murderer in disguise. Directed by Nicole Garciai,

“The Adversary” was nominated for the 2003 César Awards, the César Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress awards. It also stars French cinema icon Daniel Auteuil.

The Pebble Lumière Film Club is open to all and interested audiences can catch up on the best of internationally acclaimed cinema. Contact Haris Ali at 9886060184 for details.
