Ordinance to ban protests in Sabarimala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government will promulgate an ordinance to ban strikes and protests at the Sabarimala Sannidhanam, Devaswom Minister G. Sudhakaran has said. He was addressing a meeting convened here on Monday to review the arrangements made for the Makaravilakku festival at Sabarimala.

There were unconfirmed intelligence reports hinting at chances of people reaching Sabarimala as human bombs.
