CET will continue

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Medical Education Minister Ramchandra Gowda on Monday reiterated that the Common Entrance Test (CET) would be conducted as usual this year.

Speaking to presspersons, the Medical Minister said that discussions on whether to continue CET or scrap it were on at the government level.

“Higher Education Minister Arvind Limbavali and I are discussing it with the Chief Minister. We have finished one round of discussions and the general opinion that has emerged is to continue CET for another two years. But we have not taken any final decision on the issue.”
