Flights delayed again

NEW DELHI: Some morning flights operating from IGI Airport here were delayed because of fog on Monday.

No flights were diverted or cancelled. Over 20 flights were rescheduled.

“The safeguard procedures were initiated at 7a.m. , while the low visibility procedures were implemented around 8a.m. Both the LVP and the safeguard procedures were terminated at 12:40 p.m. The LVP lasted 4 hours and 45 minutes, during which 144 flights operated,” airport sources said.
