Correction

Para eight of ‘Feeling under the heels the ribs of Rocinante’ by M.S. Prabhakara on January 6 should have read: “In due time, this resistance too was crushed with the assistance of Belgium and the U.S., and what was left of the Cuban expeditionary force retreating from this ‘unmitigated disaster’.” The italicised words were left out in the published version. The error is regretted.
